All Guns Firing in the Eclectic Shoot Out!

After 11 rounds of the 2022 Eclectic Competition the final opportunity to 'shoot up' the leaderboard came in Round 12 on Saturday 10 December.
Prior to the last round it was incredibly tight in both the Men's and the Ladies categories... and, with the weather set fair, we were in for an almighty scramble in the 'last chance' golfing saloon!
Martin Hay came out all guns blazing in the Men's Category... firing three birdies in his final round to post an impressive net 51.4 and take third place overall.
He was edged out of runners-up spot by Ronnie Hallam who posted a net 51.2.
However, 'cool hand' Tommy Higgins held his nerve to take the HDA Golf Members' Committee 2022 Eclectic Trophy with a fantastic net score of 50.1.
The ladies section was even tighter, with a 'posse' of players searching for that killer shot which would bring home the trophy.
As the sun settled over HDA, the finish could not have been tighter - in a tense 'shoot' out, it was Catherine McLanders who steadied herself to drive 'the herd roughly west' and claim the Ladies title with a net 57.8... taking the trophy on lower handicap from Christine Faulkner!!!
