Murcia, 17 de abril de 2026. – El reconocido campo Hacienda del Álamo Golf abre hoy una nueva etapa y adopta oficialmente el nombre de Santa Elena Golf Club, consolidando así una nueva identidad y un renovado proyecto deportivo y turístico bajo la gestión de UGOLF.
Este cambio de denominación marca el inicio de un plan estratégico centrado en la excelencia operativa, la mejora continua de las instalaciones y la optimización de la experiencia del jugador. UGOLF, referente internacional en la gestión de campos de golf, liderará esta nueva fase con el objetivo de posicionar Santa Elena Golf Club como uno de los destinos destacados del golf en el sur de Europa.
El proyecto contempla mejoras progresivas en el recorrido, el mantenimiento del campo y la calidad de los servicios, así como un impulso a la oferta complementaria del resort, incluyendo el hotel y la restauración, con el fin de ofrecer una experiencia integral y de alto nivel tanto a jugadores habituales como a visitantes nacionales e internacionales.
Santa Elena Golf Club inicia así una etapa ilusionante, con una visión moderna, sostenible y orientada al crecimiento.
Cabe recordar que el resort fue adquirido recientemente por el grupo empresarial murciano Grupo Hozono Global, operación ya anunciada previamente, y que marcará el desarrollo futuro del complejo.

Murcia, 17 April 2026. – Hacienda del Álamo Golf today announces its official rebranding as Santa Elena Golf Club, marking the beginning of a new phase under the management of UGOLF.
The change of name reflects the launch of a structured strategic plan focused on operational excellence, continuous course enhancement and the delivery of a premium golfing experience. As an established international operator in golf course management, UGOLF will oversee this next stage with the ambition of strengthening the Club’s positioning within the European golf market.
Planned initiatives include progressive improvements to course conditioning, refined maintenance standards and the further development of service quality across all golf operations. In parallel, the wider resort offering — including the hotel and food and beverage facilities — will be enhanced to ensure a cohesive and elevated guest experience.
Santa Elena Golf Club enters this new chapter with a clear long-term vision centred on sustainability, quality and steady growth, reinforcing its commitment to members, visitors and stakeholders alike.
The resort was recently acquired by the Murcia-based business group Grupo Hozono Global, as previously announced, supporting the future development of the wider complex.

SEVE BALLESTEROS PGA SPAIN TOUR 2019 EVENT

The prestigious Seve Ballesteros PGA Spain Tour 2019 Event was hosted at Hacienda del Alamo from 12 to 14 December and, once again, showcased the fantastic golf course and facilities that we have on the HDA resort.

The course was in excellent condition and even though the pin positions were as difficult as you could imagine and the greens like 'glass' the scoring was extremely impressive.

The winner with a combined three day total of 204 (12 under par!!) was Alfredo Garcia Heredia - this total included an incredible 8 under par round of 64 on day two.

Also to note was an opening day hole in one on the 12th by Jaime Aguiar.

A number of HDA Golf Members helped with marshalling, live scoring, scoreboard updates and the half way house refreshments... support which ensured that the tournament was a resounding success.
We look forward to many more prestigious tournaments like this here at HDA in the future!
