Weekend of Champions – Winners & Much, Much More!

The Club Championships at Santa Elena Golf Club saw players battle it out in scorching summer temperatures over a fantastic weekend of competitive golf. The event featured three competitions overall — two individual 1-day competitions alongside the prestigious 2-day Club Championships. Players showed great determination, skill, and endurance as they competed for nett and scratch honours, with some outstanding performances across both days. Congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who took part in a championship weekend!

The course was presented in excellent condition throughout the weekend, with fast, true greens that tested every player’s touch and nerve. With very little wind, scoring opportunities were there to be taken, although the tricky pin positions provided a real challenge and kept competitors thinking carefully on every approach shot and putt.

With no Academy the Clubhouse putting green was very active!

The Clubhouse balcony was the venue for the ´Golf Presentations´ providing a beautiful backdrop for the players and friends. Thank you to all the staff and Pablo the Manager for Hozono, for organising such a slick team of serving staff who catered to our every whim.

Thanks also goes to the Chef for yet another lovely post round snack - 2 chicken satay skewers with fries and a complimentary drink paid for by the competition and Committee.
