St Andrew´s Day Results

Another great competition and apres golf for St Andrew’s Day. It was a very chilly start to a sunny day. It didn´t stop some coming in with good results.

Thank you to everyone who played and guests who came to support the day. A big thanks to Kaye Niven who volunteered to take photos of the presentation.

The trophy winners were…… Mark & Jane Godfrey. A great game Mark, well done to both of you. 44 points.

2nd place - Mixed category were Brian & Sue Saunders on 37 points.

Winners of the Men’s category were…. Florian Fleck & Mike Niven on 38 points (LH)

2nd place Men´s - Peter Whitehead & Rob Edwards (missing in action!) also on 38 points.

Winners of the Guest category were Jim Connolly & Matthew Halligan on 41 points.

2nd place Guest - Peggy O’Dea & Ian Rusher on 40 points. Yeah!

Best dressed - Steve & Lynne Hoskin - an unexpected yet worthy winners

of an impromptu best dressed golfers. Brilliant!

Unfortunatley, we don´t have a picture of both Lynn & Steve together, so here is one of Lindsay Laing (with Steve), who kindly donated the winners special prize - 2 x Glenfiddich Single Malt Whiskey. Thank you very much Lindsay. Jane Godfrey was very impressed!

And almost winning the best dressed was Mike Niven in his

Doddie gear alongside Gina Wagamans.

We held our last raffle of the year, a great success given the numbers with all proceeds going to Founders golf. Here´s a photo of Josef winning a bag of golf balls donated by Jose Migica, Assistant Pro at the golf Academy.
