A very very close competition over the both days. Well done teams.
Après drinks were kindly hosted by Lochy´s, who aired the Ryder Cup live for us - thank you.
Players arrived in anticipation of the results presentation. Everyone was chatting, swapping
stories and walking through their game that day. The Chair, Imelda presented the results to a maddening roar (and a few boos!) and handed over to the Team Captains, Andrew & Javier for a few words.
A big thank you also to Louise and Jan for Friday´s fare and their lovely smiling faces.
Thank you for making these competitions happen. It needs all of us pulling together to make these events something to remember.
Lots of photos over the 2 days to scroll through. I hope you´re in there somewhere. They are posted onto the Facebook site - HDA Golf Members. If you´re not yet a member, you're missing out on the latest news and views! 591 members so far, lets take it over the 600 mark.
A final line which I know you´ll want to hear. The new bridge structures have been delivered and await fitting. Fingers crossed, it won´t be long.
Until the next time .......
